Our city is home to world-class expertise in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and defence innovation, and this event will bring together leaders from across Canada and around the world to help shape the future of these critical sectors. Now in its fifth Canadian edition, the INCYBER Forum Canada brings together leaders from government, industry, academia, international delegations, defence, law enforcement, and the cybersecurity sector. The event will attract key decision-makers from across Canada and around the world to the National Capital Region.
“Gatineau is proud to host the INCYBER Forum Canada in the National Capital Region this year. Gatineau and Ottawa form a strategic tandem with a world-renowned ecosystem in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, innovation and defence. By bringing together leaders from here and abroad, the event will help shape the future of these strategic sectors, while generating concrete economic benefits for our local businesses, and strengthening Gatineau’s positioning as a major hub for technology, research and public services.”
Mayor Maude Marquis-Bissonnette, Ville de Gatineau
Cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and digital resilience are national priorities. As Canada continues to invest in defence and national security, the forum will provide a platform for experts to discuss opportunities, challenges, and emerging technologies in these critical fields.
The Ottawa–Gatineau region is a national hub for defence innovation, with growing strengths in dual-use technologies, AI, and cybersecurity. Hosting the INCYBER Forum Canada reflects the region’s leadership and the strong collaboration among its public, private, and academic partners.
The conference will also provide an important opportunity for Canadian companies and organizations to connect with partners and buyers in sectors expected to see significant investment in cyber, trusted AI, quantum, and digital innovation.
The organizers thank the City of Montréal and the Government of Québec for their support over the past four years, and for helping establish the event’s strong foundation in Canada.
This announcement is made possible through the collaboration of federal, provincial, and municipal partners, as well as strategic organizations including the Canadian Cybersecurity Network and Digital Trust Canada.
Special thanks are extended to the City of Ottawa, Ottawa Tourism, and Invest Ottawa for their leadership and support in bringing the 2026 event to the National Capital Region. Organizers also look forward to working closely with partners in Gatineau, namely la Maison de l’innovation technologique, Export Outaouais, Tourisme Outaouais, Cyber Québec, ID Gatineau and le Service de développement économique de la Ville de Gatineau, to deliver a strong and collaborative program.
